Morgan M. Insley
Morgan M. Insley is an associate attorney at the Pflug Law Firm and focuses her practice on residential real estate transactions, business law, and estate planning and probate.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Insley worked for a large law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a well-established law firm in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. In her previous experience, she handled residential real estate transactions, assisted clients with their estate planning and probate needs, and formed business entities and prepared various corporate documents for a variety of clients.
Ms. Insley is a member of the South Carolina Bar (including the Real Property Section, the Probate, Estate Planning & Trust Section, and the Young Lawyers Division) as well as the North Carolina Bar. She graduated fourth in her class, earning her Juris Doctorate, Summa Cum Laude, from Charlotte School of Law, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, in English from the Honors College at the College of Charleston.
During law school, Ms. Insley was a judicial intern to Justice Paul Newby in the Supreme Court of North Carolina. She also served as the Senior Executive Editor of the Charlotte Law Review, the Historian of Phi Delta Phi (a national legal honors society) and was an inaugural member of the school’s honors program. Her case note was selected for publication in the 2016 edition of the Charlotte Law Review Journal and has been cited as relevant authority in the North Carolina annotated statute publication.
In her free time, Ms. Insley enjoys saltwater fishing, kayaking, and boating. She is also a painter, focusing mostly on acrylics and watercolor, and likes to hit the golf course or driving range whenever possible. She lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband, Isaac, their daughter, Isla, and their cat, Pippin.
